local ministry partnerships

“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

Hebrews 13:16
In response to Jesus’ command to “make disciples of all nations,” we are committed to ministry both locally and globally.

North Point seeks to be a center in Poulsbo for faith in Jesus and service to the community. We seek to glorify God and to be His faithful presence in the world through worship, discipleship, generosity, and outreach. Our local ministry partnerships include relationships with volunteers, non-profits, community organizations and many others.

Fishline Food Bank

Fishline  is a North Kitsap hub that provides food and access to resources for those in need in our community. Along with sharing many volunteers with Fishline,  North Point  provides Christmas gifts as part of their Holiday Gift program and hosts an annual holiday food drive.

Youth for Christ

North Point partners with Youth for Christ to run The Next Door Youth Center, an after school drop off center staffed by YFC employees and North Point volunteers througout the school year. We also work together to support other programming for students year round.

Olive Crest

North Point has partnered with Olive Crest by collecting items and putting together Comfort Care packs for kids entering foster care. We also collect Christmas presents during the holiday season to help support Olive Crest families.

North Kitsap High School
Student Lunch

North Point Church and volunteers from other local community organizations come together on Mondays in the fall and spring to provide lunch for North Kitsap high school students. Lunch is free and available to all grade levels. Interested in volunteering for this ministry, please contact Kate here. Our fall dates are September 11, 25 and October 9 and 23. We are now accepting donations of desserts!

Frequency Kitsap 2.0

Frequency Kitsap 2.0 is a Community Symposium that encourages a wide age range of volunteers to become more comfortable and effectively connect with today's youth. The next event will be held on Saturday, October 21 and will feature Chap Clark,  a well-known practitioner, author, scholar and specialist in adolescent and family dynamics. Chap, along with our community specialists, will equip us with tools to better connect with our younger friends.

City of Poulsbo

North Point has collaborated with the City of Poulsbo to host cooling centers during times of extreme heat, provided a location for COVID-19 vaccine clinics, and provided volunteers for a COVID helpline to assist people in getting appointments to receive vaccinations. Volunteers answered over 350 calls and made over 300 appointments and were recognized by the Mayor and the Poulsbo City Council for their efforts.
