Local & Global

In response to Jesus’ command to “make disciples of all nations,” we are committed to ministry both locally and globally.

Locally, we host lunches on our campus in the Fall and Spring for students of North Kitsap High School. We support Fishline, North Kitsap’s community service to low income families. We support Fishline as the distribution location for the back to school supplies and contribute to their Food for Thought program. We also collect food for Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas Angel gifts. We also enjoy a partnership with West Sound Youth for Christ in building relationships with local youths.

Globally, we have formed a sister church relationship with two South African congregations in desperately poor communities-Maranatha Church and Aliwal North. We have formed a mutually supportive relationship of prayer, friendship and travel. Through an annual fundraiser, we resource feeding programs for children, Bible distribution and other selected ministry projects.

We also have a prayer partnership with Anita Kanaiya and her team: Freedom Project India. Freedom Project (TFPI) works in areas infamous for sex trafficking and child trafficking. Their team spends their time running before and after school programs that focus on sports, mentoring and academic assistance. In conjunction with this, they also run regular sports camps where young boys from vulnerable backgrounds come together to play sport, learn and are encouraged to build a positive future for themselves. They also run safe homes for young women and young men, pre-school classes for young children, and offer other assistance to people in need, including most recently meals and food support for communities affected by COVID-19.
