To address the many needs of impoverished and exploited communities in India, the The Freedom Project teams focus on the following:
  • Rescue of young people from brothels, beggary rings and other places.
  • Mentoring via before and after school programs that focus on sports and academic assistance.
  • Sports camps where young boys from vulnerable backgrounds come together to play sports, learn and are encouraged to build a positive future for themselves.
  • Azadi (which means ‘Freedom’) safe home for young women.
  • Pre-school classes for young children, training for parents and other assistance to people in need.
Through the month of June all donations toward The Freedom Project India at North Point Church will be matched by an anonymous donor up to $5,000. You can give online by clicking here or copying and pasting the following link into your browser: You can also drop a check in the collection plate on Sunday; make sure to include ‘India’ in the memol line.
In case you missed it, you can watch the India Ministry Partnership presentation here and see the handout from that presentation here.
